How To
Start tmux on Connect
Make every shell on a host attach to the same tmux or zellij session.
-
On the host list, swipe left on the host and tap Edit.
-
Under Plain shells, set Startup command:
tmux new -A -s main -
Tap Save. Open the host, and tap New shell.
Every shell now attaches to the tmux session main, or makes it the first time. If the connection drops, pocketty opens a new shell, and it lands in the same session.
zellij
zellij attach --create main
How It Runs
pocketty types the command into your login shell, so the PATH from Homebrew and other tool managers applies. When you detach, you are back at the shell prompt.
herdr Hosts
herdr already keeps your Panes alive. Use a startup command for plain shells only. The herdr Panes in the list are not affected.
